Monologues and Scene Study

Saturdays 10:00-12:00
Feb 28-April 18

Step into the actor’s process in this engaging, hands-on course for adults of all experience levels. You’ll explore essential techniques through practical exercises that build confidence, authenticity, and creativity.
During the first 4 weeks of this 8-week class, students work on developing a monologue, making authentic choices that bring your piece to life. The last 4 weeks you’ll work on two-person scenes, focusing on listening, reacting, and collaboration. Together, we’ll explore character relationships and how moment-to-moment awareness brings stories to life.
Perfect for anyone looking to build confidence, stretch creatively, or experience the joy of storytelling.

We’re offering up nonsense in the New year with an outrageous musical comedy lovingly ripped off from the cult classic film “Monty Python and the Holy Grail.”
Follow King Arthur and his eccentric Knights of the Round Table as they embark on a ridiculous quest filled with flying cows, killer rabbits, and the notorious Knights Who Say “Ni!” Packed with hilarious hijinks, show-stopping production numbers, and a generous serving of absurdity, this show won a Tony Award for Best Musical in 2005. And even after twenty years, Monty Python’s Spamalot still retains its place among musical comedy’s laughiest and most spectacular laugh-out-loud spectacles!
Book and Lyrics by Eddie Idle
Music by John Du Prez and Eric Idle
