Loosely based on real life DJ legend Dewey Phillips.
Huey, a white man living in Memphis in the 1950’s, becomes obsessed with the Rock n’ Roll sound of Black musicians, particularly that of Felicia, a singer ready for her big break.
Huey makes it his mission to give the artists and their music air-time by becoming a DJ. No easy feat when all the radio stations are controlled by whites.
As romance blooms between Huey and Felicia, so does the popularity and acceptance of the music.
Can they overcome the racial bigotry of the times? Is music truly a universal unifier? Will music be able to unite people across seemingly unbridgeable divisions?

Seussical Kids is a delightful musical based on the imaginary characters created by Dr. Seuss.
The Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, Maisie the Bird, the Who’s from Whoville, plus other well\-known characters come together to tell a wonderful story full of humor and inspirational moments.
This intensive camp is taught by a professional Director, Music Director, and Choreographer. The actors will perform on a stage with specifically designed sets, props, costumes, and lighting. The actors will benefit from learning what it takes to put on a professional show.
